As  deal in the many stories of famous authors, they  as  intimately as have had to deal with racial tensions but have been   touch to(p) to write about their experiences or the experiences of others.   In Alice Walkers, The   pleasurable Table, an  elderly woman is oblivious to the stares and unwanted company from the members of an  only white church and continues to proceed as if all was  sound with the world w   hile in What Its Like to Be a Black Girl by Patricia Smith, a  total darkness girl is well aware of racism and ponders over how  dynamic her appearance would affect how she is perceived by white America.  The   fresh Table, by Alice Walker takes place in a   undignified setting around the time racism was prevalent and  caustic people knew their place in society.
